You're entering a physical outdoor experience. Running, obstacles, loud noises, fog, strobes. Know what you're signing up for.
Minimum age: 13. Under 18? Your parent signs the consent form or you don't get in.
Cancel 7+ days out: 50% refund. Under 7 days: no refund, but you can transfer your ticket.
Follow staff instructions. No alcohol, no aggression. Break the rules, you're out.
We photograph the event. By entering, you agree to appear in promo material.
Dutch law applies. We can't exclude liability for gross negligence (and we wouldn't).

1. Definitions

In short: What the words in this document mean.

"Event" — Survive the Z Woerden 2.0, 13 June 2026, Woerden, the Netherlands.
"Organizer" — Survive the Z B.V., KvK [KvK number].
"Participant" — anyone with a valid ticket.
"Minor Participant" — a Participant aged 13–17 on Event day.
"Guardian" — parent or legal guardian who signed the consent form.
"Volunteer" — registered event crew (non-paying).

2. Applicability

In short: Buying a ticket means you agree to these terms.

These terms apply to all ticket purchases and event participation. By purchasing a ticket, you confirm you've read and agree. These terms are available on this page before purchase.

3. The Event

In short: It's physical, it's intense, and we may change things for safety.

Survive the Z is an immersive outdoor zombie survival experience involving running, obstacles, crawling, and interaction with actors in low-light environments. Features include fog effects, strobe lighting, loud noises, and simulated horror scenarios.

The Organizer may modify the programme, schedule, route, or format for safety, logistical, or creative reasons. Changes do not entitle Participants to a refund unless the Event is cancelled entirely.

4. Tickets

In short: Tickets are personal, sold through WeTicket, and final sale (no cooling-off period for events).

Tickets are sold through our authorized platform (WeTicket), subject to availability.
Prices are in euros and include service fees.
Tickets are personal. Transfers are permitted — notify hello@survivethez.com.
We may verify identity at entry.
Resale above face value is prohibited.

Under Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code, the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to leisure services with a specific date. Ticket purchases are final, subject to the cancellation policy below.

5. Age & Parental Consent

In short: 13+ only. Under 18 needs a signed consent form or no entry.

Minimum age: 13 on 13 June 2026.
Ages 13–17: a completed parental consent form must be on file before the Event.
The Guardian assumes responsibility for the Minor Participant.
No valid consent form = no entry. No refund.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

In short: 7+ days = 50% back. Under 7 days = transfer only. Organizer cancels = full refund.

You cancel:

7+ days before the Event: 50% refund.
Less than 7 days: no refund. Ticket transfers allowed with notification.
No-show: no refund.

We cancel:

Severe weather, government order, or force majeure: full refund or transfer to a rescheduled date (your choice).
Any other reason: full refund.
Refunds processed within 30 days to the original payment method.

7. Assumption of Risk

In short: This is a physical event with real physical risks. You acknowledge them by participating.

By entering the quarantine zone, you acknowledge these inherent risks:

Slips, trips, and falls on uneven terrain or in low-light conditions
Elevated heart rate and stress from simulated scare scenarios
Minor physical contact from actors within safety guidelines
Fog machines, strobe lighting, and sudden loud sounds
Physical exertion from running, crawling, and navigating obstacles

You confirm you are in adequate physical and mental health to participate, and that you've disclosed relevant medical conditions to the Organizer.

8. Liability

In short: We're liable for gross negligence (Dutch law says so, and we agree). Beyond that, liability is limited to ticket price.

In accordance with the Dutch Civil Code (Articles 6:74 and 6:162):

The Organizer is liable for damages caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Organizer or its staff.
For other damages, liability is limited to the ticket price or the insured amount, whichever is higher.
The Organizer is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
The Organizer is not liable for injuries from the Participant's own negligence, failure to follow safety instructions, or undisclosed medical conditions.

9. Health & Safety

In short: Tell us your medical stuff. We have medics on site. We can refuse entry on safety grounds.

Disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, and medications at check-in.
Medical personnel are stationed at check-in and throughout the Event zone.
The Organizer may refuse entry or remove Participants on safety grounds (intoxication, aggression, inability to follow instructions).
We authorize emergency medical treatment if required during the Event.

10. Rules of Engagement

In short: Follow instructions. Don't be drunk. Don't hit anyone. Or you're out.

Follow all instructions from staff, marshals, and safety personnel.
Do not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
No aggression toward actors, staff, or other Participants.
Stay within designated Event areas.

Violations result in immediate removal without refund.

11. Extraction Protocol

In short: You can leave anytime. Remove your wristband, staff escorts you out. But there's no coming back.

Remove your wristband and identifying garment to signal withdrawal. Event staff will escort you out safely. Re-entry after extraction is not permitted. Voluntary withdrawal does not entitle you to a refund.

12. Photography & Media

In short: We film the event. By entering, you agree to appear in promo material. Don't want to? Email us.

The Event is photographed and filmed. By participating, you grant Survive the Z B.V. permission to use event photos, video, and audio for promotional and marketing purposes, without additional compensation.

13. Force Majeure

In short: If something beyond our control stops the event, you get a full refund or a new date.

We're not liable for failure to perform if prevented by circumstances beyond reasonable control: severe weather, pandemic restrictions, government orders, strikes, power failures, or natural disasters. In such cases, you get a full refund or transfer to a rescheduled date.

14. Intellectual Property

All branding, content, event design, and materials are property of Survive the Z B.V. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use is prohibited.

15. Privacy

16. Complaints

In short: Email us. We respond within 14 days.

17. Governing Law

In short: Dutch law. Utrecht district court.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the district of Midden-Nederland (Utrecht), unless mandatory consumer protection law designates a different court.
